The Design museum is around the corner, just as the Gravensteen (the medieval Castle of the Counts), the Sint-Niklaaskerk (St Nicholas Church), the Belfry and many other places of interest.
In the neighbourhood there are many breakfast places restaurants, bars, but also bakers, butchers, department stores.
The house in which the apartment is located, is situated in a pedestrian zone. Bikes can park in front of the door. The underground parking place for cars, St.-Michiels, is within less than 5 minutes walking distance.
